Lenovo Wanted To Buy Blackberry

The Canadian Government hinted Blackberry that because telecommunication is a sensitive area therefore it would not allow Lenovo to purchase Blackberry. According to sources the reason why Ottawa would not let Lenovo to buy or acquire Blackberry is that it is a telecommunication company and there are millions of Blackberry users which uses its secure services.

What ever company would acquire Blackberry would have access to all this sensitive data and this is a big concern for Canadian Government because it does not want its sensitive information going into China or any Chinese company.

Blackberry is actively persuading in finding a company that can purchase or acquire after the poor financial situation of the company and many companies including Facebook and other are showing interest but nothing is confirm officially.
